Project DACICA represents a cultural and scientific initiative joining under the same logo four structures established along the latest decade, and meant to cover the most important directions of turning into account the history and patrimony of the Dacian epoch.

Dacica Foundation was set up in 2009 in order to research on, promote and protect the patrimony of the Dacian epoch. It carries out scientific and cultural activities, supporting the local community and representing the civil society in its relations with the state institutions in charge with valorizing this patrimony.

The Study Center of Dacica Foundation was established in 2011 under the aegis of the Foundation. It aims at pursuing research programs in the field of ancient history and archeology, focusing mainly on the Dacian period, as well as on supporting scientific communities and particularly young researchers.

Dacica Guesthouse was opened in 2013 in order to contribute to the development of cultural tourism in the area of the Dacian fortresses of the Șureanu Mountains and to support the activities of the Study Centre. It periodically organizes free guided tours to the fortresses, presentations on historical themes, practical activities of experimental archeology.

Dacica Publishing House was founded in 2006. It grants the publishing aspect of the projects pursued by the Study Center, but it also carries out its own editorial projects, aiming at covering an area that is less present in the publishing domain, namely that of publications dedicated to the Dacian epoch.
